Wow! Time flies when you're having fun...or when you're going completely crazy because you're chasing around after a very busy 3 year old, pregnant, trying to keep a house in shape to show potential buyers, & attempting to plan for a move to a different state. So, it's been awhile. Better late than never, huh??

Paul officially finished his training with Hilti today. This is great news except for the fact that he has to start work in Texas on Monday. So for now he'll be there through the week, Nathan & I will stay home to take care of things here, & Paul will come home on weekends. We'll do things this way until we either sell the house or get sick of it, list the house with a realtor & move in with my wonderful Aunt Nelda. She lives north of Ft. Worth & has graciously opened her home to all of us- including our dogs.

The pregnancy seems to be cruising right along. As of tomorrow we'll be 17 weeks, so we're getting close to the half-way point. We still don't know if we'll be chasing around another busy little boy or buying ribbons & bows, but will probably find out on May 9 at our next appointment. The good news is I feel MUCH better than I did during the first trimester. I felt pretty lousy with Nathan the entire time, so I'm happy to have some time during this one when I don't "feel" pregnant.

So that's pretty much all for now. I'll try to update more often- especially when there's exciting baby or moving news to report.

February 21, 2008

Okay,
So I have no idea what I'm doing with a blog, but here goes. I'm starting this so I can keep all of you in Oklahoma updated with our latest news as we make the move south to Texas.

Paul started his new job with Hilti on Monday and has been in training from 8-5 every day. As soon as he gets home he works hard to get our house ready to put on the market. Thank goodness his dad, Gene came up this week to help because it's more than one person can handle. They're building out a room upstairs to increase the square footage of our house, plus a ton of other little "honey-do's" that we'd been putting off.

Baby Perot #2 is apparently growing. I'm not quite "maternity" yet, but I'm not quite skinny either. It makes getting dressed quite an ordeal. Officiallly I'm 8 weeks and 5 days into this 40 week journey and the new little bundle of joy is expected to arrive on September 27. Yes, I get to be 8 months pregnant in the heat of August in Texas. Maybe I should have tried for another December baby! Oh well, too late now!

Nathan is doing great. He has turned into a little boy- that's for sure. He runs around pow-powing everything, "plays" X-Box, and LOVES Star Wars. He's starting to come around to the idea of having a new baby in the house, but still isn't 100% sure about the whole thing.

I will post more updates about our move and our new baby as we get them. Thanks to all of you who have supported us through all of these changes!
